Program Overview
Point Alliance’s Website QuickStart program is designed to accelerate the design, configuration and launch of your Website. As part of the program we will also provide the knowledge transfer necessary for you to maintain your own web site in the future.

The QuickStart program is a low cost, low risk and fast way to design/redesign, build and launch your website utilizing Point Alliance’s Launch Pad for Web browser-based Web Content Management platform.

Timeline
Point Alliance’s QuickStart program has a goal of launching your new web site within 3 weeks.

Deliverables

• Website design.
• Implementing the design into the Content Manager
• Training for your organization’s content managers in a train-the-trainer format.
• A Next Step recommendation to your organization’s decision makers for evolving the website.

QuickStart Phases

1. Assess - By meeting with you, we define the primary goals and project schedule, identify the target audience, and tailor the design solution to your organization.
2. Design - During this phase, we begin the process by developing the site’s look and feel, the flow of content throughout the site, the logical organization of the site’s information, and its functionality. Two design concepts are presented to you for your evaluation and approval. One revision of the selected design is included.
3. Develop, Configure and Train - With your approved Design Concept, we develop up to 4 page templates using approved graphics, navigation and content layout. These templates typically consist of a home page, content page, news list page and news article page depending on the site requirements. One content page per page template will be created during the hands on training. We will provide support to your organization’s content managers.
4. Testing & Launch - We test your web site checking one page per page template to ensure it is cross-browser compatible with the following browsers: Internet Explorer 6-8, Firefox 1-2, and Safari 1 on a Windows Vista platform. Thereafter, based on an agreed timeline we implement the web site.
