Point Alliance Nominated for Microsoft® Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) Awards

Toronto, ON (April 15, 2010)- Point Alliance is thrilled to be nominated for four Microsoft® Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) Awards. The list of nominated awards includes ‘Data Management Solution Partner of the Year’ which showcases Point Alliance’s Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Solution for Distribution and Retail, and the ‘Custom Development Solutions, Web Developer Partner of the Year’ award as it relates to their work in developing and implementing their Funds Collection and Integration Solution (FCIS). Point Alliance’s own content management solution, Launch Pad for Web (LP4W) places them in consideration as the ‘ISV Software Partner of the Year’, while the company is equally hopeful for the ‘Citizenship Partner of the Year’ award offered to Microsoft® Business Partners who place a focus on business excellence as well as community responsibility.

John Zarei, Chief Information Officer at Point Alliance is excited about their array of Microsoft® award nominations. “We always enjoy working with various clients on custom solutions to fit their specific needs- whether it’s a new intranet, a payment and donation collection process, or inventory management system. The Microsoft WPC Awards is a great opportunity for us to share these custom solutions with others in the IT industry.” Zarei explains, “Having been a finalist for the Microsoft® Impact Award in Data Management Solution in 2008, it is very exciting for us to be nominated again in a Microsoft recognition program. We are pleased to be among other great business partners in these categories.”

Point Alliance, along with other nominees, will have to wait for the winners to be announced in the early June timeframe. Winners will be presented at the annual Microsoft® WPC conference set to take place in mid-July in Washington, D.C.
