At Point Alliance, supporting our community has long been part of who we are. Since 2012, with the help of our clients, partners, and friends, we have proudly contributed more than $82,700 to the Daily Bread Food Bank, helping provide meals and hope to families across Toronto.
This year, the need is greater than ever. According to the latest Who’s Hungry report, food bank visits in our city have surged to 4.1 million—a 340% increase since 2019. More individuals and families are relying on food banks as the cost of living continues to rise, and community support has become essential.
Our annual Holiday Drive is an opportunity for all of us to come together and make a meaningful difference. Every donation helps Daily Bread deliver food, dignity, and support to people facing food insecurity.
About Daily Bread Food Bank
Since 1983, the Daily Bread Food Bank has been a vital support system for individuals and families facing food insecurity across Toronto. Operating from its 108,000 sq. ft. distribution hub in Etobicoke, Daily Bread supplies food to more than 205 community programs city-wide.
Beyond meeting urgent needs, Daily Bread plays a leading role in advocating for long-term, systemic solutions to end poverty. Through its Research and Advocacy work, the organization champions the right to food for all and collaborates with partners across the sector to drive meaningful policy change.
