It’s hard to believe that the year is almost over… and what a year it has been!
From forging new partnerships to earning another title in the Profit 500, this past year was nothing short of amazing.

The Government of The Bahamas Launches New Online Notary Application System
We close the year off by wrapping up a few projects that we are particularly proud of. Point Alliance recently helped the Government of Bahamas (GOB) bring to life Caribbean’s first ever online Notary Application System. The GOB was in need of a more efficient process to manage their growing number of requests and to find a better, faster, and more efficient way to serve their citizens.
A new application was developed by Point Alliance to reduce the amount of manual work, automate their current processes, and to integrate into their existing payment solution. Built on top of an existing solution stack, the system was capable of validating the authenticity of consumer inputted data and producing digitally signed certificates.
GOB’s new e-service system enables citizens to conveniently apply for government issued documents directly online. Application requests that once took weeks or months to complete are now reduced to a couple of days. GOB’s new eservices solution also includes new user-friendly features, such as the ability for applicants to expedite their orders for a fee, and also benefits from extreme cost savings by avoiding postage and dealing with manual payment processing and improved business operations. This new system represents a bold step towards the digitalization of essential government services, the modernization of processes and improved ease of doing business in the Bahamas.
Hockey Canada Launches New Website and Live Ice App
Canadians tuning in for some World Junior Hockey action this holiday will notice some great new enhancements to the Hockey Canada website. Point Alliance has been working with Hockey Canada to score big with a revamped website complete with an improved User Experience for content and tournament statistics – all in time for the championships.
The result is a more responsive, engaging, dynamic, and easier to manage site. Point Alliance worked with the Hockey Canada team to provide better control of their site and mobile app from a centralized content management solution.
Hockey Canada’s new pages for live game details, rosters, standings and statistics give their enthusiasts easy access to all the tournament information they could dream of. Additional highlights also include a redesigned news and video galleries to provide a more media rich online experience, more engaging photo and video content, all with a bold new design rivaling the most competitive sports sites today.
